Where can I work with my piercings?

-I am a 17 year old female & I live in NC. I have my anti - eyebrow pierced, my lip , and 0g stretched ears. I really need a job. My family is having sever money problems. I don't want to take my piercings out, but at this point I am willing. Please help me.



(Places other than hot topic please )I have snake bites, 1/2 inch lobes, double nostril piercings, a tongue ring, both nipples, conch, industrial, second lobe, and helix piercings and I have 3 jobs. I also have 7 tattoos. I work as a piercer in a tattoo shop, yeah... and I also work as a radio producer at a radio station and as a psych aid at a hospital. Its not impossible to find a job with piercings considering I have 3. If you really do have trouble, I suggest you get piercing retainers, if you do not want them seen but do not want them to close. and wear your hair over your ears.
I stretched my ears, had snake bites, septum, nipples, belly button, metal implants, both sides of my nose..... I was a metal detector's worst nightmare. This being sid... If you take your piercings out while you are at work or put clear stoppers in them, then you should be fine. Also, I recommend that you let your ears grow in a little bit just to start the healing process. You dont have to make them go down all te way by any means, but I would downsize a size or two (I know all the pain you went through and the trouble it is to get the new stoppers in, but believe me, it's worth it).

So, if you have long hair, then this shouldn't be a problem. Take all of your facial piercings out when you are at work or going to an interview. If you have long hair, pull it into a LOW BUN that COVERS YOUR EARS. Take the stoppers out while you are at work and you can put them back in your ears when your shift is done. You can work anywhere you want when you do this. Don't base your choices on piercings. Sometimes you have to suck it up and take them out while you are at work.
You won't get hired anywhere other than hot topic. I advise teens not to get piercings/ tattoos that can't be hidden exactly for that reason. You should make the sacrifice and remove your piercings to help your family. Thumbs up to you :) for being willing to remove them instead of whining about it later when you can't get a job. Darn was gonna say Hot Topic lol. And maybe Spencer's. Other than that, I'd say either research a lot on the net or inquire within in places you want to work, to see if you can have piercings. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but a lot of jobs, the only piercings you can have are in your ears and are conservative. I'd love to get a lip piercing but I can't if I want a job, especially in this economy.

I see that many places are open to piercings when you work 3rd shift. Try gas stations that are open 24 hours.
