Will nail salons put acrylic nails on short nails?

I bite my nails real short so when I go in there if u are getting a French manicure ask them to draw the with on the nail so that u won't have a thick white tip and no clear/pink.
im pretty sure they all do? unless there like a 1/2 cm long then i don't know
