How do i be popular without trying too hard?

-I gunna be @ a whole new school. How do i get popular without trying too hard. I dont wanna be desprate, (even tho i am sdmitting that i am.)

-God bless-ok first dont be shy, and maybe start with a new trend! like a sparkly haedband with a high side poneytail, big trend at my middle school and maybe before you go to school think of a few fast little subjects you can talk about with new people. also you have to be nice and sweet but remember not shy. and if you pretend like you ar already popular at that school people will also start beleive that and then you will be very popular!!
This is going to sound crazy, because it's exactly opposite of what movies tell you to do:



Be incredibly nice. Be friendly and open to new people. Don't judge others too harshly, things may be very different at this school. The friendlier you are, the more people are going to like you. Even the popular ones. I'm out of high school now, but when I graduated I noticed that the most popular girls and the ones the guys were after were the nicest and had the least amount of drama.



Also, pretty hair and nice, natural make up doesn't hurt either :]
The very first day you need to look your best and keep a smile on your face 24/7. First impressions are so important, and the first five seconds someone sees you, is the impression they will have of you for quite awhile. First impressions are often difficult to change.



So when you walk in, make sure you sit/stand straight, remain positive, be non-judgemental, be friendly, be kind, and be willing to accept and offer help. Always try to look presentable, but you don't have to be super fancy.

it depends what you're really good at... if you can do sports, than become known as the sporty one. If you're artistic, then give people pictures.



give compliments. say hi to people. generally, popularity is a never ending road... no matter how well everyone else sees you, you always need more popularity.



you probably ask this just because you're insecure... just be yourself. It's not worth becoming someone else for the kick of popularity.
try joining clubs that fit ur intrest to make friends.if u wanna bepopular just set new styles,look nice all he time and keep healthy self esteam im12 and kinda no what ur going though jst show people who u r .it helps tohang out with POPULAR people 2. goodluck
This year I am going to be at a whole new school to! Be outgoing, have good style/clothes, have a good attitude, look and be nice, talk to everyone
Just be nice and talk to a lot of people. Don't be shy be outgoing. Make people laugh. Be stylish.. dress nicely.. Be helpful I think that should do it :)
