How to make me look more pretty? Pics?

-First off, I don't need the confidence or personality speech. Yes, it is very important when determining beauty and character, but that isn't what my question is asking. I know that I'm not ugly, and although the type of pretty I am isn't exactly stereotyped as general pretty (ie blond or blue-eyed), I'm usually called "cute" to my face. I don't really want to look cute anymore since I'm getting older and I want to appear more mature. When I think cute, I think fourteen-year-old child. I dress nicely, have very long black hair which I style different almost every day, and I do wear makeup, although not very much. I usually go for the more natural look with less eye-liner, little mascara, and natural shades for eye shadow. Since I've always had really good skin, I've never worn anything on it except for on special occasions. I've read that to appear more beautiful, you pick out your best feature and emphasize it....Ok? How is anyone supposed to know their best feature? So here's the question, what techniques should I attempt to bump myself out of the "cute" category?
