I need advice for a new school! Please help!?

-I'm going to a new school for 8th grade.

The school is pre-k to 8th meaning that I only have one year there.

Even so I really want to make new friends.

Throughout my life I've made many freinds but I only keep contact with around 7 of them.

I need help meeting new kids.

Last year I was a hermit at my old school and I really just don't want that to happen again.

Any advice on being the new kid?

I don't have to worry about clothes because it is a uniform school.

For make up I thought just some eyeliner and mascara and sometimes some a light neutral shadow.

And then my hair, straight, wavy, up down iI have tons of options.

I'm not really worried about that.

I'm worried on what to say and not to.

I used to be so quiet but I'm really not that kind of shy person.

I just simply don't know what to say.

The kids seemed really nice when I viseted.

There were only about 15 in the entire 7th grade.

They only have one.

Everyone wants to be around a smiling person, a nice person.

Fake confidence! the more you fake it, the more real it will become.

Talk to people you dont know, and ask alot of questions!

Just be reaallllllyyy friendly to kids that don't look intimidating, people aren't as harsh as them seem most of the time. You should be fine.
just dont freak out. ur first day is everyone else's first day and there will probably be more new kids too. as for ur makeup it sounds good but remember ur only in 8th grade. if u put eyeliner on go really easy on it. too much makes you look trashy. as for what to say just be yourself and you will find friends who like u for u. if ur sitting in class dont be ashamed of being new. if there is someone who looks friendly near u simply say "hey sorry to bother u. im new and i was wondering if you could kind of show me who everyone is and where everything is." it sounds cheesy but it really works. people that age like being helpful to others. so unless u ask a snobby person u should be fine. but rlly just dont worry about it. people will probably just start talking to u.
